Hi Everyone,

I still need to raise about $200 to cover the insurance and other expenses for the Lyme Out retreat being held in MA from November 18th-21st.

There are a few different ways that you can help support this retreat.

1) Make a donation, pure and simple. Donations can be made with a credit card through PayPal:

Or, check can be sent to me:
Annie Giddings
61 Cross Road
Rochester, MA 02770

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated!

2) You can buy one or more of a few handmade crafts I've been making for the retreat.

I'm making "Lyme" green beaded elastic bracelets. They are made with lime green and cream colored seed beads on a thin elastic string so they're easy to take on and off. For a donation of $5 you can get one bracelet. A donation of $20 will get you five bracelets. They're a great way to support the retreat and a fun way of sporting something that shows you support Lyme disease causes.

The other craft I'm making is eye pillows. These are the handy things that you can pop in the microwave for nice heat for a headache or tired eyes or store in the freezer for cooler relief of pain. The eye pillows are filled with rice and made with cotton fabric with a nice blue fabric with suns and moons on it. They are handmade but they look like they could be storebought. A great holiday gift idea!! You can get one for a donation of $20. I'll even throw in a bracelet as a bonus!! (In the near future I anticipate having more fabric patterns to choose from but for right now there is just the sun and moon one.)

Here's a picture of the bracelets:

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].

--Annie

I now have eye pillows available in three different fabrics: the original blue cotton fabric with suns and moons on it, teal satin fabric with white and black designs on it (very nice), and a purple nylon/satin fabric. Here are pictures of all three:

For more info on this fundraiser or the Lyme Out retreat in general, go to the Lyme Out Retreat Website.

I haven't had anyone order anything yet. Don't be shy! The teal satin fabric is especially nice and would make a great gift for the holidays!

Peace and healing,
Annie
