Hi,

Odd question. Or maybe not for lyme patients.

I wondering if anyone has experienced pelvic floor pain? Every day It feels like it is "cracking" -- that something is breaking or ripping.

regards
paisley

Yes, I have had pelvic floor pain. I described it to my Lyme Doc as feeling like early pregnancy, only not. It was a heavieness in my pelvis almost like concrete was hardening there. Itlasted for hours on end and for several weeks at that. Strange symptom indeed. My husband, also a Lymie thought that was a strange symptom.

All my best. Lynette

YUP. This is closely associated with Interstitial Cystitis, which I have....as do many other Lyme patients, diagnosed or not.

Hopefully, it will disappear or lessen with continued Lyme treatment. Mine did.

For pelvic pain I strooooongly suggest reading this breakthru pathogenesis for MOST unexplained chronic pelvic pain (applies to both sexes):
http://www.chronicprostatitis.com/myoneuropathy.html

And this:
http://www.pelvicpainhelp.com/

The Stanford Protocol is *the* breakthru in these conditions, applicable to most cases. It is less successful on average for those with systemic illness, but still successful.

It takes a good bit of effort

Worked great for me (CFS, equivocal pre-tx IGeneX lyme WB).
