Hi SisterSue2,I know Mo has her favorite coconut oil she orders on the web. She takes it by the spoonful all day for yeast; and, she rubs it on her skin.
She orders it from: http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm
There is a lot of good information at the above site.
A big health food store should carry a good Coconut Oil----I found some in the food section of the store.
Also, you might try an aloe vera lotion from the health food store that lists aloe vera as its first ingredient.
I have a favorite, but you have to order it. Everybody in the house uses it for something or another.
I use to use this on my skin prior to applying DMSO sollution on my forehead for pain. It kept the skin from being irritated.
It also comes in a gel. A gave a bottle of the Aloe Vera Gel to my brother whose fingers were painfully split open & the next morning they were much better.
Anyway, the special stuff I like is:
"Miracle Aid Cream" by Aloe Master International. They use to sell it straight from Irving, TX, but now a website handles it.
It's found here: http://www.aloe-emporium.com/aloe-master.aspx
Their aloe vera juice is the real deal. It's tea-colored. I wish I could afford to drink it daily, but there's so much to always buy------can't do everything at once.
Taking fish oil capsules daily helps dry skin. I've always wanted to try Hyaluronic Acid capsules by Solaray to see if that would help my skin.
The skin on the back of my hands is like parchment paper. It's not pretty. I know it's due to LD. It has a name----can't remember.
Also, dry heels and skin are symptoms of low thyroid. And the tests aren't accurate. I've posted on here about that & so did Bambiland & Daystar. Theirs was the most informative.
Anyway, that's all I can think of at the moment.
Hope you're doing well.
Take Care,
Jan
