I have 27 symptoms of lyme include cognitive difficulties. MRi shows small multiple lesions not typical of MS in the locations that lyme is found. This week, got clinical diagnose of Lyme from a LLMD.

Blood tests were taken Monday but don't have results.

While I am waiting for my next appointment I am second guessing. Can this be lyme? What happens if the blood tests come back negative? What happens if no hex when I start treatments?

The sypmtoms are a match and a rheumatologist has ruled out SLE although there was a slight elevation of anti DNA and cardio lupins.

Do others go through this questioning?

You bet we did. Only a few months ago I was sure I was about to die as I had been progressing and had no diagnosis and no help in sight.
In addition I looked good and my lab results were perfect so some of my doctors thought that I had simulated a disease.

Hi brighty,

I did alot of second guessing, so your not alone. It took me a while to believe I was sick a long time from lyme.

Tests are not 100% accurate, it's a clincial diagnosis, so if a LLMD has told you that you have lyme..you do.

If you don't herx, don't worry some people don't they just feel better.

I hope you feel better soon.
