Can anyone shed anylight on this symptom.? Is this Lyme or babesia? Lately when I am asleep i awake later and feel out of balance in the bed. Now what is that after 7 months of mepron and not one round of riamet i am having this again. It never happened while on the mepron but did before and after i stopped and not while on the riamet either but now it is back again. Is this lyme or babesia or something else this scares me. Thanks, Robin in Houston

Hey Robin..

I am not sure anyone has a 100 percent for sure answer on that... sorry.

I do know Babesiosis is well known to cause the "off balance" feeling. Even a "floating" feeling.

Not to make us sound stupid.. but I have a hard time myself trying to figure out things that sometimes are quite obvious...

My thought here is.. and I see ME missing it too..

If the symptom was bothering you before the treatment..

And stopped during the treatment..

Then came back after you quit doing the treatment..

Perhaps what ever the treatment was suppose to fix... it did.

Kinda like my chiropractor's advise..

I say.. "It hurts when I do this"... as I bend my arm back behind my back.

He says... "Well don't do that."

Hope you get it figured out and fixed. Be sure to mention it to your doctor when you get a chance.. ok?

Hope you feel better soon!

Robin,

I had Lyme without co-infections and I had the same feeling on and off for a long time.

Always thought the Lyme must either be attacking my ears or my brain.

Same thing when I would see weird things or feel pain in places I couldn't possible feel.

Like when I had horrific pain on the inside lining of all my teeth (at the same time). I figured the Lyme must be messing with that part my brain again!

I think I felt pain in every single corner and crevice of my body at one time or another while fighting Lyme.

Hang in there, this too shall pass!

---Nancy
