I just had my hubby and youngest dd tested. Their test were almost $70.00 higher then mine were in March with the same tests done. When I called they informed me that they raised their rates effective May 1st---grrrrrr. Like the testing isn't expensive enough.

Just thought Id pass that info on

Try bowen Lab, they are 250.00 and a deductable as a donation. They are considered 100% and give a quantitative level of Bacteria load. You can use it to monitor your healing.

Yes, and you can take the $250 donation off of your taxes. Bowen will show you the pictures of what is in your blood and they are scary. Call 727-937-9077 and have your doctor get the necessary forms for you.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

No, I am done testing for now. Besides my LLMD does not care for Bowen lab so he doesn't use them-personal preference I guess. I just more or less wanted to let everyone know that their prices went up. Thanks for the info though

Go to Bowen labs. Bowen is a Research lab and it is a 501(C)(3) organization where you take the $250 donation off of your taxes. You get the pictures of what is in your blood. Best test around. They are waiting for their FDA approval. They just received their patent in Jan, 2005.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Yes, I called there yesterday too. Asked woman to send me a list of ALL NEW PRICES; she will.

Would be nice if we could get them shown here since their online page has been removed, and I did mention there was NO info on their web pages anymore.

Also asked to talk to Nick Harris on another matter. Nick is there only Monday & Tuesday! talk about banker's hours....

Thanks Betty for calling there again. I don't mind paying the price if I know my test results are gonna be much more accurate then the ones the reg dr's order up in their offices-total waste of time. Im sure Bowen is also a very good lab, but my LLMD personally does not like them so I stick with who he likes.

To All,

I spoke yesterday with Brenda, office mgr. at Igenex.

I asked her why the May 2005 prices are NOT on their web site nor their required form.

Brenda stated they will NOT be there....too much confusion.

Call their 1.800.832.3200 number for the prices and they can explain about the various tests since it is really confusing which tests are needed!

Also, I asked her what the normal procedure is for IGX to let the drs/patients know the outcome of their testing.

1. Patient can never be sent these.

2. Goes to dr. only.

3. If the IGX form shows to FAX PROMPTLY AND MAIL PAPER COPY, they will go by whatever is on their slip......otherwise it is MAILED ONLY; NOT FAXED!
==========================

In my case, their results are for my 6-16-04 lyme POSITIVE dx results are critical to my SSDI case of almost 5 years.

Judge's letter said I had to prove I had disability ON OR BEFORE 6-30-04.

IGX mailed my 6-21 results on 6-22-04 to my dr's office. My clinic shows they did NOT receive the results until July 8....after 6-30 deadline date.

Brenda also told me yesterday they faxed the results 3 times: July 8, 13, and 30, 04 to the SAME phone no. I found that interesting.

Until I pushed for answers this time, my local clinic has never acknowledged WHO screwed up and lost my positive lyme tests!
