Hi Team,
I am so weak and in pain and blown out. PICC line came out on Wed. LLMD today and we decided to give my poor tired body a break from anbx for 2 weeks and regroup then.
Anyone else go thru this? What can I expect?
Thanks.
Blessings,
Marblenose

I can empathize. I am taking several weeks off I.V. antibiotics after being on antibiotics and ruining my gut and body for 9 months. I kept the picc line in just in case, but I am hoping to get it out soon.

I plan to see Dr. C in MO for a consult, but then I would like to try alternatives, such as rife. Let's keep each other posted.

God bless. hiker

Hey Marblenose,

IV recephin was hell for me. When the picc line went out, I stayed off antibiotics for at least 4-6 weeks, I dont remember exactly. (even tho I had the line pulled just this january). Every week off i got better and better ( from the nuero symptoms and sleeplessness), seemed to take about 2 months until was completely wore off, but was just tons better after 2 weeks. I was bothered by neuro symptoms, inablity to sleep and huge candida overgrowth. I also went on a huge effort to get rid of candida while taking a break from abx. Took oral prescription, total diet change, etc..... Watching myself be able to slowly regain the ability to sleep was the best--and to finally sleep a full night !

I hope that your break from abx will also provide your body and mind with needed time to regroup and detox.

As part of the diet change, I have been supplementing heavily with chlorella, and will testify to its effectivness for me in removing toxins. I take 12 - 15 g a day total (4 to 5 g 20minutes before each meal--thanks GiGi for this info !!!)

The point to this is, that I am taking abx again, first added ceftin pulsing 2 weeks on and 2weeks off. Then we added biaxin with the ceftin. I was leery cause this time last year biaxin caused me severe nuero symptoms, like the rocephin, so I refused to keep taking it.

I am handling it much better this time, and I think that the chlorella is one of the major reasons why.

Good Luck

Debi

Thanx for your feedback.
I take a ton of probiotics, oil of oregano and a product from Hickey Chemist called Green's RX. It is loaded with greens and happy enzymes. I take it 2x a day.
I am so foggy and weak. I am scared. My pain level is off the charts so my LLMD dbled my pain meds in the hopes of getting out of the cycle. I feel a sense of relief being off anbx for just a few days.
I wish the weakness would end soon.
I am grateful to you all.
Blessings,
Marblenose
