if you have one band that is igm and 4 that are igg--is that cdd positive?

The CDC doesnt require any bands to be positive ( ie diagnosed} for Lyme.

but if you mean, is it good enough to be in statistics...no. At least I dont think the bands can be divided up. But perhaps someone here knows for sure.

Netherless, you are not required to have any bands to be diagnosed.

The CDC will claim these are just for "surveillance" purposes but if they truly were for real surveillance they would relax their guidelines to include at least IGeneX's idea of positive. Currently I think a CDC positive is 5 out of 10 bands on an IgG or 2 out of 3 on an IgM. Oddly one of the bands they require on the IgM isn't even a Lyme-specific band, fer cryin' out loud. Idjits.
