I know there have been postings about diabetes and lyme but I have not read them. Wish I had.

My youngest could have diabetes (based on bloodwork from yesterday). He has lost 11 pounds in 5-6 weeks.

No diabetes in the family but he did remove an attached tick early morn in January. His Igenex testing was mostly equivacol (sp) but with eye twitching, pain behind eye, extreme fatigue, below normal temps and weight loss the llmd put him on levaquin. (Starts today)

Anyone who could direct me to past forum threads about this.......I would so appreciate.

We are seeing the primary who called today first thing tomorrow.

Hi Valymemom,

There is an on going thread regarding diabetes/lyme/children. If you scroll down you will see a thread with today's date regarding this topic.

The thread is: Lyme causes diabetes in kids??? by Janet Thomas

Best wishes-Debbie/RI
