How can I tell if the pain/aches in my legs are arms are nerve pain or muscle pain?
I have always thought of it as muslce aches but after reading some posts about nerve pain I'm not sure. I also have fasiculations or muscle twitching which is improving with oral abx. The aches in the hands and the forearms are improving as well.

Nerve pains include numbness, tingling, weakness, twitching, burning and freezing sensations..
while muscle pains would include cramp like or charlie horse or achy pains, soreness, and generalized weakness.
I think that would best sum up the categories.. I may be missing a few.. but that gives the general ideation... from a laymans prespective anyway...

It's actually much harder to distinguish. Partly because muscle tightness can refer pain to other parts of the body. I get pain I thought was tendon pain, but it came from muscles.
I had deep muscle pain in my thighs while on Biaxin. I think it was nerve, because Vicodin didn't help. I also have foot pain that feels like the arch, but I think is nerve pain.
Also, I believe some of my muscle pain is caused from neurological issues.
