I am so sorry to hear this news.
Please tell both Theresa and Lorraine that we as a community are thinking about them and wishing strength for them.
How hard and unfair it feels when people who already do so much for others who are suffering are given more to bear. There are no answers, but there is the care and sympathy of those of us grateful for their work.
I hope that they know we have them both in our hearts and that our strength together can help them to find the strength within themselves.
With sympathy and concern
Thank you for posting this, Ellen.

Thanks Nelly. Looks like we should not be sending cards to Theresa. Although the spelling of the name seems to vary, it is apparently the same person. Here is the way it is spelled on the support group page:

Yikes, that possibility didn't occur to me. Guess we will be hearing something soon thru our own channels.

Hi folks, The good news is true! Theresa's son is alive and well.
Pat Smith did not want anything put out confirming this until she had spoken to Theresa directly - which she just has. It's unclear as to what happened, but at least we know he is okay.
In our relief about Theresa's son being well, please let's not forget to send condolences to Lorraine Johnson who has lost her husband so suddenly.
Here is the post from Pat Smith after speaking to Theresa: From Pat Smith:
"The Denham family is happy today to announce that their son has been found alive and well. The experience was a harrowing one for them but has ended on a happy note.
""They thank you for your support, calls, prayers." Pat Smith, President Lyme Disease Association. Inc.
I guess I should also put this out in another thread with the subject "good news" . If anyone has another idea of where I should put it, please let me know or feel free to send it on. Ellen

I'm gonna edit the original post on this thread so that no one has to be upset unnecessarily.
So if you are reading this and don't know what the lasat few posts are about, THeresa's had incorrectly been informed that her son had died in an accident and she found out yesterday that it is not true.. Ellen

Ellen, maybe a new thread should be started for Lorraine?
I saw in her husbands obituary a request to send donations to CALDA in lieu of flowers.. what a tradgedy, he was only 54.
