Since the manufacturers of Rocephin are no longer providing assistance, is there another antibiotic that can be suggested? Known to provide assistance?

I have gone through the list provided by Tin Cup but unfortunately not having much luck, however if I became more educated on other IV meds that may work just as well.

Any suggestions would be great as I am going to one of the ony LLMD in the area and I want to have available to him options that may help when my benefits run out during treatment.

For the first time in a long time, I have a bit of hope.

Thanks,

Lakota Queen

I have no experience with this website, but you might want to check out Needymeds.com.

Good luck!

I don't know if you will be able to get

assisatance with them but other iv meds include

zinthromax and clafarin (sp?)

There are also bicillin injections which are a bit more convienent.

best wishes [Smile]

Hi Lakota Queen
____________________________________________

Make sure to talk over everything first with your LLMD!_____________________________________________

I had IV for 6 months and here are a few of the things that helped me:

*I Made sure to eat before every infusion ( And this means not just a few crackers)

* watched my diet: the yeast beast can get away from you fast. No sugar-low carbs

*take plenty of good quality pro-biotics and take them at least 2 hours away from infusion time.

*I used some detox methods

*I didn't take any hot baths & was real careful to keep my pic line dry.Hot baths would make me too sweaty

Ask your doctor about liver support suppluments.

Good luck to you and keep your hope strong
Blessings [Smile]
dana
