Hi all,

I have a job interview coming up this week, for a part-time job. My lyme symptoms have been flaring up lately, especially neuro symptoms. Might be herxing, because I started 200mg doxy/day a few weeks ago.

I really need a clear head for the interview. Do you think it would help to stop the abx for 3 days beforehand? Is it OK to take a break from the abx, or is that asking for an attack from the spirochetes?

Thanks for any advice!
Kate

My LLMD always lets me take a week off every month. Even when I was on doxy. I can't advise medically but this is what I have done.

Make sure you are drinking lots of water and helping yourself detox.

Did you just start taking doxy?

You should call your LLMD. It's different for everyone.

Thanks for your replies! I'm between LLMDs right now, since Dr B/Dr M in IL closed down in June.

I'll make sure to detox, to help get rid of the toxins that are getting me down.

keep on keepin' on,
Kate

Dana, I forgot to answer your question. I started the doxy three weeks ago. It's the first time I've had any Lyme treatment.
