Hey, where can I find the L-glutamine you were talking about?? I was going to PM you but I see you don't take private messages.
Please feel free to PM me however if youd like. I have L-glutamine here but I have a feeling its not the good stuff. My budget is also limited however.
What kinds of GI surgeries did you avoid?
Nancy

Mine cost $15.10 from my LLMD for this brand:
NOW sports, 120 capsules, 1000 mg
does NOT CONTACIN: SUGAR, WHEAT, MILK PRODUCTS, EGGS, ETC. for those "allergic" to them....
If this is a better deal then you have, PM me for more details!
I'm on this ONE WEEK only with Histamine I believe; working in the dark again so can't put on light while hubby sleeps!
Then go on 5HTP starting 2nd week... Bettyg Sorry, I'm just volunteering info too.
PS - After leaving ER tonight and stopping to get ibuprofen pills for my chest wall pain, I asked owner/pharmacist about my long list of supplementals I left them last week. What would his charges be compared to what I'm paying?
He doesn't carry much. When I told him my LLMD selected all 22 supplements based on my FOOD ALLERGIES OF: SUGAR FOR DIABETES, WHEAT, MILK, EGGS, GARLIC, CHEESE, ETC.,
pharmacist thought it would be to my advantage to just deal with my LLMD since she has a supply instead of driving all over the place...fyi only!

VERY late.. tired. Sorry!
Vitamin World just cause it was on my way to another store. The first batch was from the chiropractor.. but the brand name stuff was more expensive there .. so I "shopped around". I got what he recommended... the powder form L-Glutamine.. pure pharmacutical grade... usually found in section of health food store for "weight lifters and sports folks".
I avoided some fancy named bladder surgery that was suppose to make the bladder stronger and work better?? I had a BIG fear they had no clue what they were talking about.. and they didn't obviously.. and I feared it wouldn't have worked had I done it.
Was also scheduled for.. at the same time.. the full hysterectomy. Had considered all the other options.. but after 15 years of severe problems EVERY day (yes, I'm hard-headed)... I decided to pull it all out and hope for the best.
Luckily there was a snow blizzard the night before and the surgery was cancelled. (After ALL THAT STRESS)
Also lucky I complained to my chiropractor that I FINALLY had the nerve to have surgery... and there was a blizzard. He happened to mention the L-Glutamine that day.. for other reasons (leaky gut)... and before the new surgery date... the L-Glutamine had started working.. doing GREAT things we didn't know it would do.. so I cancelled the surgery.
Been great in that department ever since.
Good luck to you... and DO let us know how it works for you!!
By the way.. I gave the info to a LLMD I happened to run into.. they tried it.. their staff tried it.. and then they prescribed it for patients... and had VERY good results.
