depends on what angle, where in the brain you're looking (depth) etc.

There's a fairly decent article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuroimaging with a picture of the medial transverse view of a normal 20 year old brain. But I don't think this will help you much.

I received my spect results this past wed from my

llmd. The spect was done at Columbia. I asked for the spect pictures while there and I came home

with them. I showed them to my llmd, thinking he
could help me to understand the results on the report

while looking at the pictures (which are the same size shown on the columbia website)

He said those pictures were useless that I had

because they are "thumbnail" size pictures. The
drs. that read the spect scans , read it off of

pictures that are much larger and make their conclusions from the magnified images.

So, basically, I have sheets of real colorful
brain images, but if you are looking at your

own images in thumbnail size, there's not much
value in it.

The Columbia site it good in regard to how they
compare scans of Lyme , Alzeimers, etc brains.

You can see how they differ.

I was bummed! I was all excited to have my pictures and couldn't wait to get to the llmd to

talk about them!

Hi,

My SPECT scan pictures were thumbnail size, but if you click on them, they will blow up to readable size. Some images were readable, some were blurry. None of mine were done in color only grayscale, :-(

I received mine in hardcopy form, not a disc, so did not have that option. It would have been

great if I could have done that. I don't know why but I love reading and trying to figure out

that kind of stuff.
