1. I like multivitamins that come from real foods/plants.
Nature's Plus has some great multivitamins that you can really tell are doing something. I took them for years.
I've tried many different multivitamins, but the Garden of Life multi is what I am taking now.
2. Lots of advice to use cast iron. I use it for frying with coconut oil or red palm oil. I bought a couple pans from Costco last year. There are some drawbacks. The pans are heavy. Maintaining the finish is a hassle... you can't just leave it sitting in water or it will rust. They can do damage to my countertops and the stovetop.
I do most of my cooking in stainless steel with extra metal on the bottom to hold heat (Farberware). Easy to use, easy to clean. Some say that the metal can be made from recycled radioactive metals. I don't actually know about that.
I like the look of enamel coated pans, but don't know about safety, etc.
Corningware is wonderful and seems like a healthy choice.
