Hello--
Those of you with babesia, does your body, especially your torso, neck, and head feel very hot, like it's burning up? If so, what can you do for it?
Just fyi...I've never had any of the night sweats or fever or chills...I'm on Mepron, zith, and artemisin for the babs...Even though I feel like I have the flu and a temp of 103, my temp is only around 97.5-98.0...
Any advice from you guys who've dealt with this???
Thanks so much--
A.M.

Especially with that combo, my daughter would just sweat!
Like you, if she runs anywhere near a "normal" temperature, she feels like she is burning up.
Enjoy it, the heat is good for you, and bad for the bugs.

I've had that Sx for many years. It never made any sense to me because my temp has always been low (usually 95* to 96* since getting sLyme).
That Sx never went away until I treated Bartonella. It took 3 months on Bart meds before it got better. Unfortunately I didn't get rid of Bart, and the Sx is still with me to a certain degree.
I had tested negative for Bart and Babs at Igenex and MDL multiple times over a 2 year period. I finally took a chance and did the live blood smear test with Dr F in AZ, and both were positive. So even though you might have had a negative test for Bart, don't be so sure that you don't have it.
