Hi everyone. I was done with my 30 days of doxy on fri. I've always had bad knee pain during my treatment.
Yesterday, my knees swelled up! Can this be because I need more antibiotics? Help!

knee pain and knee SWELLING are 2 different things!
swelling i found out in my case was from a BLOOD CLOT after my hip replacement surgery 3-07!
on your knee, IS IT WARM, swollen?? **********************************
flex your toes BACK TOWARDS YOU? does it hurt? RN TOLD ME THIS INDICATES A BLOOD CLOT!! check it out on yourself right now ok!
others will come along; this is my personal experience w/doxy and knee pain prior to lyme and hip surgery..

Betty- if you read her other posts she has been seriously under-treated- sounds like anyways-!!
I got swollen knees. At first I just had the pain. Then months later swelling, too. More & more symptoms came.
I hope you find a good LLMD!!! Sincerely, Sarah
