I am SO SICK of taking medicines and supplements. I've never actually counted how many things I take on a daily basis, but it's a lot.

What do you do when you just don't feel like swallowing anything else???? Pep talks aren't working anymore. [Smile]

Sadly, I think most of us can relate. And then when you feel that all these pills are giving you stomach problems to boot, we just get so frustrated.

I'll tell you what everyone here kept telling me. Try to hang in there since it really does get better, even though we sure wonder about that when we are going through it.

Yep me Too--

What I did to encourage myself was to
Think that Every Pill I took got me Closer
to being well again --

I also envisioned those F%&#*king Little Germs
exploding - that helped alot too

I once added up how many Doxi pills
I had taken and it was between
4 and 5 thousand- closer to 5 thousand tho-
Doxi was the first med I took -

Now if I take just One Doxi pill it makes
me barf every time-- LOL-
I guess I have reached my Doxi limit -

If you really want to freak yourself out
add up how much $$$$ you have spent --

Im perty sure I have spent enough $$$
that I could have traveled the World
for close to a year --
and maybe even a girl friend or 2 -

Ok Ok I went a little overboard on my expenses-

I guess will have to scratch girl friend
off the list -- Jay --

Great topic; can totally relate!!!!1

I guess I do the opposite; I try to ignore the fact I have to take them. I lay them out in a dish in the morning and take them throughout the day as I am drinking water anyway. I slip them in just before I take a sip, and don't think about the pill, just sorta pretend I'm just drinking the water. So by the end of the day I've fooled myself into taking most or all of my supplements without consciously trying.

I'm always so thirsty due to the night sweats and side effects of meds; this works well for me. It is much worse for me to pay attention to the fact I am having to swallow these pills.

Hope this makes sense.

One thing that bothers me about all the pills is I wonder if they are all dissolving in my system. People who have had colonics have seen fully intact pills come out. One woman had a huge ball come out and sure enough - there were many pills in it.

I have been taking tumeric force and Unique E - these have particularly thick gel coverings. I just envision them gunking up my gut and not letting the toxins through. I've stopped taking them regularly recently, and I am beginning to think I was right.

Anyone have any experiences with that?

i'm sick of swallowing pills too. i'm also sick of chewing chlorella (i take A LOT of it - it helps me tremendously - but it's disgusting).

i don't have any advice, but i relate!!

I know if I stopped taking them my health would go down hill fast ...

so after all these years having to take all the pills doesnt really bother me..

because I know the hells they are saving me from.

I just wish more of them could be smaller ... and chocolate or york candy flavored. [Big Grin]
