Is it furry? There is a result of antibiotics that is referred to as black hairy/furry tongue.
I had very dark areas ,not hairy, both sides of my tongue when on Tindamax, Rocephin and another antibiotic I can't remember off hand.
Another time, I forgot I snuck a black licorice. Scared me for quite a while as the short term memory was shot. I've had soooooooo many of those lyme moments.

One of the abx I took caused this. Stopped the abx, and it went away.

Pepto Bismol is notorious for causing black tongues if you don't drink enough water with it. Pretty scary looking!
Also, as others have said, many other drugs (and I would guess supplements too) can cause discolored tongues.
