We just got back yesterday from a week-long vacation, so my whole system may just be out of whack.

But I woke up this morning and was having sharp pains on the right lower abdomen--felt like ovulation-type pains, so even thoug it was a few days early, I thought that's what it was.

I've been having some discomfort throughout the day, but nothing major.

(TMI alert) Now this afternooon I had a poop, and since then I'm having what feels like muscle spasms in my rectal area and into my pelvic region. [shake]

No abnormal discharge, and no fever, so I'm not thinking any kind of pelvic infection.

Could this be something Lyme related? Or is it just something female-related or even IBS related? [confused]

I have had severe lower right abdominal pain-had a hysterectomy, gallbladder and appendix removed because of severe pain.

Come to find out, it is a severe symptom of Lyme!

I have suffered from this for years. it feels like someone is stabbing me and lately it is so bad I have been vomitting from the pain!

<<<<< Starfall,Betty and Astria' >>>>>,

If you've had surgeries especially,be aware of 'adhesions,. I've had to have a hyst',Gallbladder and appendix out.

I developed an *'adhesion' lower right abdomenal area, which I strongly suspect has a Lyme cyst in the middle of the *scar tissue.

Definetly have it checked out,to be sure you aren't getting various types of cysts, and/or adhesions [scar tissue that can stick together].

Starfall, have to agree about appendix issues. It's better to be safe than Sorry hon'!

Astria, do you have a rice buddy? its a rice filled 'heating pad'. Mine is in an old sock LOL.

Just put plain ol' uncooked rice in it. Midrowave it for two minutes or so...it'll hold heat for 20 to 30 minutes.

Its good for cramping, neck aches and so on!

I hope y'all are feeling better soon!

I've wondered about adhesions, although both the surgeon and the gastro ruled that out--I had some kind of u/s done recently, and it didn't show any scar tissue or anything.

I had my gall bladder out about a year and a half ago.

I wasn't thinking appendix because I don't have fever or vomiting, which I was always told goes along with that.

The pain kind of went away now, so who knows what the heck it is.

Maybe the keets were getting upset over the physical activity I actually got over the past week (walking all over the place in Florida).
