Guten Abend! I have not heard of Mepron being used to treat GI parasites.
Although it does have anti-parasitic qualities, its uses in this category as far as I know are for malarial-type parasites, including babesiosis, and also for toxoplasmosis.
As for resolving diarrhea. unfortunately, it is more likely to cause it than to resolve it. GI upsets such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting are known side effects with this drug.
Flagyl is often more effective in the treatment of GI parasites, but it depends on which ones.
If this is a problem you are suffering from, I hope you are seeing a doctor?
