I've had that. No idea what it is, but it's annoying and scary!

I use to have constant burning and tingling in hands, arms, feet, legs and mouth area. It is much better after a year and a half of treatment.
I get the sore spots on the skull still like Pinelady.

It is mostly in my face, hands or lower legs. For some reason, my left temple is really prone to burning- I've had days where it feels like someone's lit a match and stuck it on my face.
The first time I got them, I got tingling and numbness in and around my lips- and it just happened to coincide with taking an oral NSAID with the same medication that I had had a severe allergic reaction to in topical form.
Needless to say, I was very freaked out, and spent the whole day waiting to go into anaphylactic shock...

Sounds like nueropathy (sp). Have you taken a lot of Flagyl? This is a side effect.
