I saw this on another site. Posting here because it could be relevant for patients who have flu, have family with flu, or have had flu. They are reporting virus shedding for 14 days in one and 28 days in another.

You see they may have it all wrong. It is being
reported in the US as children haveing the longest
periods of viral shedding, 10 days, when it actually could
be much longer than previously thought for this one as in reality they did not know for sure as human trials were spotty.
