Hi all,

I'm having trouble spacing my antibiotics, probiotics and s. boulardii--when do you take the s. boulardii? Between meals? Right before meals?

Thanks!

S boulardii can be taken with other probiotics, at least 2 hours away from abx.

Since S. boulardii is a beneficial yeast, it cannot be killed off by antibiotics. I take one a day in the morning, along with my antibiotic and my oxymatrine. I take those all with breakfast. I take a regular probiotic just before bed, 2 hours after my antibiotic.

Best, Timaca

You can take it whenever you want, just not with antifungal drugs like Nystatin or Diflucan (at all, spaced out or not)

It does not matter if you take it along with your antibiotics whatsoever.

It should be no more than 2 caps/day for c.diff prevention. Make sure you take Florastor and not a store brand s.boulardii.
