Does anyone here test co-infection but back negative and still on the treatment for the co-infection?
IF so,how do you know which co-infection do you have?based on the symptom?

I tested negative for babesia but treated for it for a short time, 2 1/2 months. My LLMD suspected based on some symptoms that I may have it. My herx on Mepron consisted of increased joint and muscle pain so I don't know if I have it or not. I do not have air hunger or night sweats, just some hot flashes.
The tests cannot be relied on and it is important to treat based on symptoms.

I know without a doubt that I have lyme and bartonella but I tested negative for everything 3 times (never tested thru igenex).
My LLMD is treating me for lyme, bart, and babs. I have had debilitating fatigue, foot/heel problems, and some air hunger.
I've also had lots and lots of symptoms, all over the board which is a sign of coinfection.
My kids have bart (streaks & stretch marks) & babs (air hunger) too, so my LLMD is playing it safe and treating all of us for all three.
