I had a huge streak of doing pretty well. Now today, I woke up at 7 AM dizzy feeling like I was going to die. Always a horrible feeling to wake up with.
Pupils don't seem to adjust to light properly either. It's bright when I go outside, and when I come inside, I can't see much for at least several minutes. No contrast. I'm not sure why this happens but it has happened before.
Short term memory isn't working today at all.
A little frustrated. Perhaps I herxed when sleeping. Seeing a naturopath now, and besides the herxing in the beginning, I was seeing improvement really fast. First time since treatment where I noticed great improvement. ABX just made me really sick (herxed too hard and couldn't handle it) and Cipro poisoned me.

It's possible that it's just a herx or just a cycle of symptoms. I go through the same thing from time to time.
I would be concerned about your pupils not adjusting to light; if that continues I'd contact your doctor or eye doctor just to be safe,as that can be a sign of something other than lyme and co. Don't risk your eyesight.

That happened to me last summer. If your doctor has an on call service I would call and report it asap. If not and this is the first time it's happened you might want to consider an ER if you can't find a clinic that's open because that could be more serious than a visual disturbance.
Also, if you are on any medication I'd contact a pharmacist to see if it could be the cause. Sometimes doctors aren't as aware of complications medications can cause.

Seems to be a flare and herx. I couldn't sleep well last night because of chest pain. The type of chest pain a sane person would go to the E.R. for. Only I had this chest pain so many times and there is not a damn thing anyone can do about it.
Getting the lovely twitchies as well. Anxiety is increased more than normal. Speaking of which I forgot to take my magnesium.

Hi Kday -
Dont worry so much into how you feel day to day-
Everyone has ups and downs -- the sooner you realize this the easier things will go in your mind and in treatment--
What counts is more like how you feel month to month or so--
Its good to keep a record of how you feel- maybe once a week or 2 weeks - Use some rating system like 1 threw 10 --
after a few months I think you will find that you have made more progress than you thought -- Jay --

I have trouble adjusting to light and dark-like going in and out side. I thought it was just me. I was looking for something inside the other day after coming home from work and had to wait at least 3 minutes until I could see enough to look for it.
Hopefully it's just a cycle of symptoms and it will pass. It's good you are doing so well. I keep a record, although it could be a better record so I'm start fresh today.
