I have experienced abnormal Paps way before lyme. Gyno says it's time for another colposcopy. I am just worried about yeast, biopsy of tissue, and infection.

I've had one before. But it was before I got Lyme. I think it is safe

I had a couple before a dx of lyme, but while I had lyme. I didn't have any problems, but that was when I was in a "stable" time of my illness. I'd probably go ahead with it, now, as a matter of overall health. I wonder if they'd be willing to send the biopsy off for examination for ketes, too?

Yeah, it should be safe as long as you don't react to the sedative. Just ask what it is, and what you should be aware of. The doctor uses them commonly and knows most risks.
