LLMD said celiac panel was negative, but actual test results are confusing. Can anyone help?

Everything is within normal range, except immuglobulin A Qn Serum of 402.

Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgA 3.1
Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgG 0.8
t-Transglutaminase (tTG) IgA 1
t-Transglutaminase (tTG IgG 1

Biopsy was done with EGD was negative.

I was not gluten free when tests were done. In fact, I have not tried gluten free...not sure where to start.

Has anyone had celiac while treating lyme, but later cleared?

Hi, the IgA on serum is not s celaic test, but just to check if you can make IgA.

Now there is a strong connection between lyme and something very close to celiac, and one does need to go gluten free and be very careful with the diet, but unlike celiac it is supposed to go away after lyme has been treated successfully.

There are a lot of postings on this.

tests are usually negative or just weakly positive.

Try the Gluten Free and Beyond Forum.

Celiac testing is a lot like Lyme testing...a positive test means you have it, but a negative test doesn't necessarily rule it out.

This forum has a lot of good information.

Did you have the biopsy of the small intestine for this test?????

If so, you had to be eating the equivalent of 5 slices of bread a day for at least 90 days prior to testing or it is not a valid test.

And like Annelet said, a negative test does NOT rule it out.

Here's another site:

Do you have the normal ranges for the testing you posted?

I had gluten intolerance, but did not have celiac. Gluten was a big problems and GI symptoms were severe. I did much better gluten free.

Once I treated PARASITES I felt much better. Also bartonella. Then I could eat gluten again.

Celiac does not go away. Gluten intolerance can.

Get acquainted with http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=it&langpair=de|en&u=http://www.allergie-immun.de/

You will not have to worry about gluten and gliadin and many others, all contributing to ill health, any longer. It is a very successful therapy and a very simple therapy. And worth every penny it costs considering it permanent. Even Dr.K. is on it and was very excited that he could get a good night's sleep again after many sleepless years.

There is also a thread moving here on the subject of Allergie Immun. You may want to read some of it (some 3000 posts).

Celiac can be corrected with Allergie Immun. Absolutely. Here is their article (in Quatation marks) in German which you can translate with one of the google translating engines.

All is covered in the one price - no matter how long it takes to find all allergies/dysregulations to complete the total therapy. It is easily done by mail.

No biopsies! Just a little bit of saliva!

Take care.

Go on the pecanbread website. They have a bunch of gluten free recipes and a list of foods.
