It is actually the cheapest to buy the herbs powdered in bulk. That is what I do. Some people encapsulate them, but I don't. I just measure the amount and mix them in water and swallow. Doesn't taste good, but it works just as well and is a lot cheaper.

Also Knotweed contains resveratrol and is a better source for it than grapes.

You can purchase these bulk herbs at: www.1stchineseherbs.com.

I was going to recommend Swanson's, too. I just put in a big order there last night and got the savings. They carry the NOW brand, and I use that and several others. I have to buy for 3 and it all adds up. They are out of Fargo, ND.

Brussels reminded me of the Rain-Tree Amazon line. Although they have capsules and tinctures, their BULK offerings are the best cost-saving approach:

Also be sure to get the book & or technical papers:

I agree with bulk. All preparations (capsules, tinctures) have a big added value to the price.

I prefer to do my own tinctures, when needed, and certainly, didn't bother to encapsulate herbs in the end. I took them pure, mixed in water, shaked a bit, and they worked well. Some, you need to boil to get the good chemicals out...

I prefer bulk because they have no fillers, no plastics or chemicals in the capsules, and no magnesium stearate. Plus, you can do your own dosage freely and they cost only a fraction of capsules or tinctures.

You can also do tinctures on your own (I did teasel tincture long time ago from dried herb). Or other tinctures too.
