What can you guys tell me about detoxing lead? What are the most successful methods? DMSA? EDTA?

I have/had high lead. Don't know my current status.
I used Detoxamin suppository, chlorella (which I found I couldn't tolerate) and chemet.
It was pretty hard on my system.
A few months ago I just did Biopure's Lipohealth daily. It was much more gentle.

Lead makes mercury 100x more toxic. That said, edta is good for removing lead.
I use DMSA, chlorella, detoxamin, modified fruit pectin, DE, etc. I think there's more (can't remember right now). I don't take them all at once though (rotate). HMD is supposed to be a good one too.

I'm about start chelation with pectasol (modified citrus pectin). I had a really strong reaction to it so my LLMD thinks metals are my issue even though my tests were negative

Hey Jamers I am also using pecta sol.
So far I have not enjoyed dealing with the heavy metals.
It is really tough chelating I find.

Maya, sometimes they make me calmer, sometimes they make me herx. They also make me weaker, so I have to build up the minerals afterwards and detox.

Do you find this on a daily basis catgirl or do you take chelators daily?
I am currently doing pleo- chelate, pecta sol, ala, NAC and minerals and vit c daily and Iv EDTA once a week. Do you actually feel every dose of chelators? I even seem to herx from ala or NAC and feel horrible after the pecta sol and pleo chelate.

Hey catgirl how long have you been chelating. I have only been chelating for 2 months.
Perhaps you don't herx on NAC now if you have fewer metals to move through.
Does chelating flare symptoms for you?
