On rocephin, third day I was getting some clarity back, more feeling of life. For those with depersonalization, you'll understand, but had a sense of time, sense, self, there is a God. It went away Saturday with the salt and am in mind hell again, but there is hope for everybody stuk in this hole. I only have 6 weeks of Iv, god I wish it could be extended. Ifi get my mind back, I'd do it every day. I'd be living now which I'm not. There is hope. Scared when I have to tindamax it though. Also oral zith for Bart. You never hear me say good things, I wish I could say more. The salt is tough to get up. Just added an ounce of sea salt in lentils to keep me out of the hospital. Does anyone have any idea how the salt is linked to Lyme. It's hyponatremia. Thanks. God bless.

Chronic Lyme can play havoc with the adrenals. Low adrenal gland function (or adrenal failure) can cause hyponatremia. Strongly suggest getting tested for low adrenal function. Blood tests aren't necessarily accurate enough for subclinical adrenal insufficiency. Need saliva and/or urine testing.

My adrenals were messed up. Higher in the am like normal, then bottomed out to 1 from 10 am on. Taking isocort and adrenal drops from llnd. Hope they help. Did urine and saliva on nov. couldn't be picked up by regular endocrinologist, just naturopath. Thanks razzle.
