People on Ivermectin - how are you doing with side effects? Dr K's protocol calls for a huge 48mg / day --- anyone actually taken that much? Any side effects? Elevated liver enzymes?

I am on a very low dose of Ivermectin (1/2 3 mg. daily), but take it with 100 mg. Minocycline, which increases the side effects.
Has anyone experienced indigestion or heartburn from Ivermectin? That was my one side effect until recently when I started to get the blues, like what is experienced with Mepron. I am on Mepron too, but have been for 2 1/2 years successfully. Anyone get the Ivermectin-blues or heartburn?

I posted some of this in my other Ivermectin thread but will repeat it here.
Side effects I have had on Ivermectin:
- Woke up with very blurry vision in left eye the day after initial dose (3 mg.) and third dose (12 mg. - third day) - Stabbing pains in gut (first day only - sure this was dieoff) - Incredible weakness that lasts for 5-6 hours. This is on only 12 mg. per day. This one is hard to tolerate - White blood count dropped after only 5 days into tapering up to 12 mg. per day. I was pulled off for a week, now pulsing it
I can't see myself getting to the 48 mg. per day with the weakness issue and possible WBC problems.

For me no side effects using horse paste durvet brand according to weight on tube every other day .
I did have some blurry vision when I tried to take it every day for a while .
I have just switched to another vet version with iver / praziquantel . I am starting to have humdinger herxes again and pass seed like articles when I take it . ( This stops if I discontinue the iver / prazi ) .
Will keep you posted . The herxing and die off are very rough - from stories I read that is to be expected when parasites die . I hope I will eventually feel better .
