The urine test can show a lot and also show none. It depends where the stuff is hiding.
A good doctor will understand the hair test results and be able to judge from there. If he/she does not know that or says the other is better, I would try to find one that understands detoxing. And has learned to interpret the hairtest and the mineral balance. I have posted a thorough explanation of the hairtest before, so maybe search here and find it.
You can pretty much tell yourself by doing the inexpensive hairtest. If your mineral base is poor, etc., you are metal toxic.
If your urine test shows little or nothing, some very toxic people have taken the test with negative results or just very little. Reality is they were very toxic and the test did not show it. Some people show none with the urine test, because the body will for some reason not release it. I was one of those. And I am still detoxing mercury and other toxis metals to this day.
Dr. K.'s comment: the vast majority of chronically ill with Lyme are metal toxic.
Added here: if you keep doing the urine test which is not conclusive and stop detoxing, you will be disappointed. Symptoms go hand in hand with metal toxicity. Many here probably have cleared Lyme and co some time ago and are not aware of it because as I posted 100s of times, toxic metals cause problems as bad if not worse as infections. But as long as metals remain, the infections have a place to hang out. Be sure you listen and read the posts I did the last couple of days.
I know it is boring and repetitive, but it is important to understand that part of Lyme --- it is a major part of Lyme & Co.
All the best.
