Yes, it is absolutely fine to take if one has candida. Although fungi, mushrooms are safe for those on anti-candida diets and will not promote oral, intestinal or systemic fungal growth.
The entire family of medical mushrooms has supportive properties that can help your body as you battle candida. Culinary mushrooms are very nutritious, too.
Dr. Burrascano, in his lyme treatment guidelines, has Cordyceps on the list of nutritional supports. -
