I just noticed on an old email that this should be taken with the parasite protocol.

Does anyone know about this or a good source to get it?

SSKI Potassium Iodide

Thanks

I think people are using it in a nebulizer for lungworms (as per Dr. Ks protocol). I haven't tried it. I take another iodine formula for general health. I think it's a good idea to supplement with iodine but the use for lungworm is a bit different.

I use Lugol's Iodine like Sparkle mentions. I've been able to reduce my thyroid meds with it and it's helped heal my gut the rest of the way. No telling what else it's helped with.

SSKI replaces nearly universal iodine deficiency, orally antimicrobial for sinuses, throat, lymph, lungs, thyroid. Specifically used to inhibit growth of parasites in the lung (lungworm associated with chronic fatigue).

Do not use Lugal's Iodine - see explanation

Page 50, etc., http://www.klinghardtacademy.com/images/stories/powerpoints/autism%20protocol%2009.pdf

Iodoral = tablet form of iodine, not preferred in general due to binders/fillers

Gigi - if you are out there!!!

Does Dr. K. prefer a pharmaceutical SSKI or other? I did look at the Power Point where he has some reccomendations. I just want to get the best. It's the one thing missing from my protocol.

Haley, he prescribes SSKI Potassium Iodide Oral Solution, NDC 0245-0003-31. It is nebulized with small amount of saline (comes in a little portion bag from the pharmacy).

Take care.

Thanks GiGi. I keep wanting to press the like button, but it's not there.

This parasite protocol is amazing. I am finding that Ivermectin is not enough.

I'll ask my doc about this. If he doesn't prescribe it, I'll go with one of the others that Dr. K. mentions.

Haley,

"I am finding that Ivermectin is not enough".

That is the reason for four or five different pharmaceuticls. Many carry parasites of all sizes, in different layers/body compartments, and
"one size" does not fit all.

If you can find someone to muscle test (ART) you, you can determine what works best at the present time.

Take care.

Or learn your own energetic testing! I do that a lot, because I can determine my major needs when I test myself. I use a tensor. Since I am detoxing heavy metals at the present time, I tested myself and determined that I need one drop of SSKI.
