Hi <<<<< Lyme Family >>>>>,

What have you found to be the best supplements for headaches?

I am trying to fill any holes in my list of supplements.

Per LLND in 2006 clinical DX, and then a blood slide in 2011 I have the Lyme, and it looks like Babseosis as well as Bart.

I am trying to watch BP and sugars because of Diabetic issues as well.

As TxC and I are self treating me,I am trying to find effective supplements and so on.We are going to try to get some LL info to my PA next month as well.

I am trying to slowly ramp back up on my supplements after an intestinal virus, and we hope in a couple more weeks to have a little more cash flow.

I have magnesium,and B-12,also B2, I take a number of supplements when I am able.

What has helped y'all the most as to getting the headaches to ease?

I will add, most of the supplements I have, I learned about because of LymeNet Family, and some have been sent to us,

by some of you very precious folk. I can never thank you enough for the help!!! But Thank you so very much!!!

We have had great success with Enhansa (Curcumin).

We started out with organic tumeric from the grocery store and then I encapsulated it myself. Then we switched over to Enhansa.

I hope you find some relief soon.

Some people take feverfew or butterbur for migraines. I usually take some Excedrin or drugstore brand Excedrin (since there was some kind of recall of Excedrin).

I think it depends on the cause. It may be due to excess toxicity. In that case, you have to address the root issue - toxicity. Binders may help...?

The lady upstairs uses this awful laundry detergent & it's very strong. If I smell that - it gives me a migraine. I had to buy an airfilter. So, it depends...

I've researched migraines a lot, and have tried many things over the past twenty years. I have been nearly migraine free for six weeks -- a miracle! Here's what I've been doing:

- Strict migraine diet
- Vit B2 100 mg 2x day
- Butterbur 60 mg 2x day
- Ubiquinol 50 mg day

I still get a lot of daily headaches but I have only had one migraine. The most important things i cut out of my diet were: soy, all beans, all cheese except american, all chocolate, all foods that list "spices" or "autolyzed yeast" or yeast extract.

Changing my diet made more impact than anything else. good luck

Migrelief

Works like a charm. Was getting severe migraines with halo at least 3-4 times a week.

Nothing else worked

Hi there <<<<< momintexas, sparkle7, Lymetoo, cottonbrain, and randibear-sis >>>>>,

Thanks for the info', I am trying to make sure I have something helpful and effective, to fight these headaches.

The typical migraine meds, end up making me feel worse, and if they don't stay down they don't help.

ANd I am hoping the rain is washing enough smoke out of the atmosphere to help too...provided I don't get slammed w/ another weather migraine.

Hopefully I can get the rest of my supplements soon!!! Thanks again so much for the info'...

Sometimes, hormones can be the cause of bad headaches. Detoxing the liver can help with that.
