i have been having intermittent leg and arm pain for awhile. some severe enough to keep me from weight bearing and walking without walker. right leg was the worst. i had to put the brakes on fast cuz i got cut off...but not so fast the tires squealed or anything. i braked with right foot-and that is ok-but i think i braced with the left and that whole knee is in pain so bad i cant walk on it...knees are replacements put in 08 and they are starting to loosen up but are not bad yet.

anyone else have this reaction...it seems my muscles and attachments are really over=reacting to use. like exercise intolerance.

im wondering if this is just lyme-cuz i dont think i have much active infection after 30 years...or do my muscles have some condition that they are not reacting to stress correctly?

if this is fixable i need to fix it becasue for weeks now it is getting too hard to take care of myself.

I feel for you, kayak. My muscles don't seem to be very happy either. Are you taking the curcumin 3 times a day? If things got inflamed, it may help settle it down.

Be safe in that storm!!

i called the knee doc just to be sure but he is in surgery. i am icing and taking ibu and curcumin and fish oil and coq10 and mag and cosamine...i think that is all for now

after 2 hrs there is a big improvment as long as i dont twist it and carefully step on it when i get up to be sure it is in the right place

only 2-3 inches so far and no wind.

Kayak, if the knee replacements are loosening, you may be interested to know that there are reports that pulsed electromagnetic therapy can help them to tighten up again.

The SOTA Magnetic Pulser will reduce pain and swelling, and help ligaments and bones to heal more quickly.

I have no connection with the company, I am just impressed with how well their products work.

Have you tried an epsom salts bath? If you can't do a full bath then just soak your feet in a tub of water. If it is really a magnesium issue then your body will just absorb what is needed -- and it will be quicker than taking pills to get the levels back up.

Use up to 3 cups of epsom salts per bath. You could add some mustard powder also to help with circulation and adding in baking soda is also good.

Yes, please post the brand and form used.

Sadly, many bottles of supplements just sitting on stores shelves are not all we might hope they could be -- as your body gratefully told you when you switched to a better source.

Hope you feel better soon.

yes bea-i can do the foot bath...i cant do the tub now.

so you wnat to know the bad brand? i'll see if i can find that. i know mag tab sr works the best for me. i order from the factory: niche.com

i'll be back with bad brand if i didnt throw it out yet

i think i put it out with the recycling...unless etta hid it under the furniture or something. it was oxide tho.

and the new one that is helping is slow-mag (chloride) from purdue products in stamford ct
