Please share any specific testing and treatment that is necessary to address mold toxicity. Our house had mold in the attic that was professionally removed but have not had too much treatment. My wife has Welchol that she has not started yet. Interested in any form of treatment. Photon users, does photon therapy treat this. I am going all out, buying both the PE1 and a Biomat to test for 60 days. I know all will have to be taken slow as my wife has the defective methylation gene.
Thanks

Hi-I also have the gene that makes me unable to detox toxins and mold. I am on csm. My llmd says this is the best. It is tough to take, for me anyway. I have read on here that some like it and others cannot tolerate it. Good luck

My house had alot mold/black mold that was professionally remediated. I suspect there is more

For my own tx I have taken csm and currently on Byron White Detox 2, Brown Seeweed Extract and IR Sauna.

For inability to detox I have taken Methyl Protect but do not respond favorably to it.

Absolutely, you can treat mold and fungus with nosodes and Pe-1. Look for bejoy postings on LN, She had mold issues and treated with PE-1 with great success.

quote:
Mycotoxins. Yes, mycotoxins are the biggie in my world this week.

(Other than a mild remaining show of babs, this is what I test for.)

I started treating my whole family for mold, fungus and mycotoxins a few weeks ago. We are all suffering from it, due to some bad flooding mostly ten years ago.

I think this explains one daughter's learning issues, the other one's constant angry outbursts and foul moods, their skin condidtions, my husband's serious sleep disorders, libido issues, sad but true, my continued fatigue, even when the lyme and co's are managed.

So I find it to be no coincidence that once I started treating my husband, he immediately started cleaning out the basement. It was full of rotten moldy things that neither of us had had the energy to move for years. I think the FNG homeopathic gave him strength and resistance, and he suddenly felt that he could.

Now there is mold all over the house from the boxes of books and old photos that he brought up to sort out.

My bad cold is remaining persistent, I can't sleep, I've got inflammation pain again, my face is red, my neck went out bad, my adrenals are shot again, when I was almost off of cortef, and I'm crrrrranky. Don't forget to use your blinker if you see me coming down the road!

I turned a large hepa filter on in my daughter's room at night for the past week. I'm feeling like a pill, but she's accomplishing miraculous feats of math never seen before. More validation.

Also, I got some nasty virulent mold strains introduced into my office by a client last week, and now it makes it very difficult to muscle test or douse in there. I got another hepa filter, and have some serious cleaning to do.

Strange mix of irritation, furious rage, overwhelm at the cleanup prospect, and cathartic relief and joy that there is once again a lighthouse at the end of this dreary illness voyage.

My house is sick. It's been keeping me sick. My family is sick from it too. My husband believes me, and is going to do something about it. For a change it is not just all about me, and not all up to me.

He wants the kids and I to leave town a couple of weeks in the summer, so he can dig the basement out entirely, and seal it up.

I'd put this in a thread of it's own, but really this continues to be about PE-1 and biophotons for me.

I'm going to figure out the following:
1. How to rid my house and office of mold and mycotoxins
2. How to clear my body from mold I'm harboring
3. How to reduce my allergies or sensitivities to yeast, fungals, molds and mycotoxins.

So far my best remedy seems to be PE-1 with DesBio FNG, and Systemic Drainage, and magnesium, C, and oral binders.

csm is cholysteramine-I think I spelled correctly. I believe the use of this is based on the work of Ritchie Shoemaker. If you google his name, you will find lots of useful info. Good luck!

CSM= Cholestyrame. A drug used to lower cholesterol but also binds with mold toxins...

I could not use it while I still was being exposed to mold in my home. Had it in my attic, 2 bathrooms and dining room walls. I could tolerate the csm better once remediated.

didogs, which gene is the one that shows you can't detox mold well?

I had the 23&me test done but not sure which is related to what.

the mold detox test is HLA DR BQ. My daughter had the test done and she came up with the multisusceptible gene.

We have mold in our basement and immediately got a hepa filter and dehumidifier.

If you are working in a mold rehab area, you MUST wear respiratory protection with a mold cartridge filter.

Check out mold-control-on-a-budget.com - run by certified microbiologist May Dooley.

Our llmd has us on Bio-Challenge "Bind" to help us with the mold detox - it has several binders, as well as herbs. Sold by Revelation Health.

Leave the house was the only way for me to start.
And Cholestrymine helps or other binders and tons of detox and detox and time and it has made a huge difference after I moved away from my house and got rid of everything I own.
Thank goodness for that move.. I believe I was treating and working against the tide while in that house and I no longer have that weight down upon me and I no longer wake up and feel like a truck hit me and I am poisoned..

I would never ever consider staying in a mold house remediated or not..

We had some black mold in our attic some years ago. We actually had the whole roof replaced and had the attic treated by a mold remediation co. I hope it was enough.

We sent samples to May Dooley from 8 areas of our home to test for mold and all came back negative except for some harmless mold (stated by May) on a PVC pipe that can easily be wiped clean. I am afraid that the original mold may have gotten into my system and that is why I am unable to get rid of my head symptoms.

I tried CSM and initially, I liked the way it made me feel. But the more I used it, my tinnitus became almost unbearable and I didn't like the way it made me feel physically.

My LLNP said she could get the CSM for me from a compounding pharmacy (no aspartame to aggravate tinnitus), but it is very expensive $400 if I took 4 x day for a month. I had only been taking once a day.

All of my blood work points to mold toxicity. MSH was low, TGF Beta 1 high, Veg F low and C4A elevated. I also continue to fail the visual contrast test. It shows that I am having difficulty detoxing, at any rate. I am currently taking charcoal once a day. I am afraid this is not enough.

I'm beginning to think I should look into the compounding pharmacy for the CSM without aspartame. Or perhaps BW detox?

Hopkinton Drug in Mass. sells compounded CSM for 200.00. That's where I got mine, they make it with Stevia.
I switched over to Welchol recently and it works well too.

My insurance covered csm-I paid 50 for csm then 20 or 25 for shipping from Hopkinton Pharmacy. Not too bad as it is a huge tub. Probably depends on insurance though.

My insurance covered the CSM from a regular pharmacy. I would hope they would cover from a compounding pharmacy.

I get mine for free. My local pharmacy has it on their $0 copay list.
