Hi All.

Has anyone used Galaxy PCR for their bartonella testing?

I will bring up my bartonella questions when I see my doc next, but I wanted to do some reading about the labs ahead of time.

I was an animal groomer for a few years, and most recently got scratched and bit by a sick cat in Cuba. And also bit by a million sand fleas there.

I am looking for a test that will identify every species of bartonella possible. There's probably a good chance I'm harboring a few types.

Just looking for some feedback about which labs you've used etc.

Thanks [Smile]

Thanks, Steve [Smile]

I was reading about that lab also.

I assumed that Bartonella is pretty difficult to detect, so PCR seems like the way to go. But going off abx for 2 weeks... don't think it would be pretty.
