I searched for posts about fingernail symptoms and found some but not specifically about this ....my finger nails are curling in like they're trying to reach each other and up....
i made it sound more dramatic than it is because i really don't know how to describe what's happening
they don't seem to be discolored or pitted
i am on Dr. Z's allicin protocol and the Bactrim and Flagyl the ENT prescribed...
and i'm taking curcumin, magnesium, vit d, multivitamin,
anyone else have this and have an idea what it might be about?

the corner of each mail is turning in and up toward each other...lol...guess i didn't do a good job...
so if you look at one nail, each corner is flipping up and in, almost like it's trying to reach the sky above the nail....
like the flying nun's wimple...
hope this helps...

Spoon shaped? Iron deficiency. Need vit. C to help hang onto iron and utilize it.

I have had this along with lines in my nails and it was due to parasites. If you have a parasite infection, they can infect the hands and nails.

Does sound like a spoon shape. Thanks for clarification, Dan!
I have two nails that are turning down.
From Bea's link:

"The term clubbing is used to describe the swelling or enlarging of the tips of the fingers, with the nails curving downwards over the tip. While some people are born with clubbing, if it develops later on it can be a symptom of lung disease, congenital heart disorders, inflammatory bowel disease or liver problems.

Spoon nails, on the other hand, come about when the fingernails soften and curl inward from the sides, creating a concave surface. Also known as koilonychia, spoon nails can be a sign of iron-deficiency anemia."

Spoon shaped nails can also be a symptom of hemochromatosis (iron overload).
It sounds like you may need a full iron panel done which include ferritin and tsat%.
Also have you had your thyroid checked? My nails are the first sign that I get when my thyroid function has worsened and I need a new prescription.
