Hi everyone! My husband has been trying to change my extension line connected to my PICC line for the past couple weeks and it is on sooooo tight. We have tried the rubber jar grabby thingy, a type of pliers (but was VERY careful not to squeeze too hard and damage the actual PICC line). We just can't get it unscrewed to put on a new extension. Had anyone ran into this problem? We thought that like some people use hot water to open jars, maybe if I run hot water over just that area maybe it will loosen up. Whatever we do, we just need to be careful because, I do NOT want to do anything to damage the blue connector piece on my PICC line. Thank you ahead of time for any input!

We got it loose! Hot water and some twisting finally did it. Have a good day!

That was a scare- glad you got it fixed. I had to go to the ER when the docs thought my port line had got out of whack.... Ah the joys.....
