Hi <<<<< LymeNet family >>>>>,

A couple days ago, I discovered an infected small blister like sore on my lower abdomen, and a small one just inside my lower lip[ I don't think I bit it].

I don't usually get stuff like this, the one on my abdomen was definitely infected, and seemed to come up overnight.

Haven't really changed my routine or anything, so not sure what it is , also have a small itchy area under my chin. I am watching to see if more skin problems develop... but just puzzled what is up.

Back in the '90's I had shingles on my arm, this doesn't look like that... so I tho't it might be Lyme and Co's related.

I try to keep clean and dry, as it is very warm here right now. The water here is also very hard water.

I have been having more headaches than usual, and some bart' pain in feet. I don't know if it is related to the blisters.

Any tho'ts or ideas what might be causing the blister like eruptions?

Hmmmm...

Not sure.

I get blisters on my hand that eruptn and look like excema. If one google syphillis hand, there is a hand with a gazillion tiny blisters. Looks like my hand. It is lyme, not syphillis.

Could these blisters be allergic reaction? Are the big?

Howl howl howl I hate the heat too.

Hi there <<<<< Pack Sis' Greta' >>>>>,

The blisters are not very big, but the one on my abdomen was infected. The one on my lip isn't to bad,but am saying away from acidic foods for now.

Maybe they are a Lyme-Bart combo of weirdness?, the one on my 'abby's-domain' stings. But I do have a couple of eczema like patches that have shown up too,as well as more bart' -skin tags.

Sometimes I think every freckle I ever had is turning into a skin tag. Hmm, before Lyme and Co's I never tho't about freckles growing.

It's all enough to make us howl for days, but right now, I'm howling silently, trying to keep the edge off a weather headache... Arrghh.

I'll look u that Syphilis hand pic', shortly... TxC' is telling me supper ready!

Thanks for the input!

I dont know but am interested in answers. I have a ton of skin issues. Many tags that really stig when the get infected or begin to rip off(like at bra line)
Also my skin often opes up and lets a tiny seseme seed thing out and then heals up in aday. No pain. I guess it must be a parasite

I also have the little blood blister things called petchiae...but no pain

Hope you figure it out...ive sorta given up. I sleep a lot and dont go out much. Just put energy to fixing house so i will be ok in winter

Hi there <<<<< Pack Sis' Greta, and 'Kayak >>>>>,

I looked at the hand pic', my blister-rash is a bit different than that. Almost like a mini bulls eye, but the center is white. If i didn't know better I'd wonder if it was an ant bite. It is slowly getting better.

The one inside my lip didn't break open, which is good, it seems to be shrinking. I have a few more little spots, that are itchy. but not following any pattern.

I get the peticheal red bumps too, some hurt, and some are just there...the skin tags are a royal pain for certain. I'm watching to see,if any of the rashes/blisters worsen,or more pop up with the headaches.

Once in awhile, I get a small sore spot, and that mini sesame seed thing pops out. It is odd for certain, and I guess all part of this disease and it's co-infections. At the moment, I have left index finger twitching too.

Yes, I'm a walking add for a strange weirdness party right now. When I walk, I shuffle, and try to balance w/ my hand out to the side.

I are... Lurch the Franken-wolfi. I have itchy
spots breaking out, my head hurts and makes my eyes water, sinus issues make me sniffly ,and I cough from time to time.

And then there's the twitchiness... for some reason, Muad'i doggy looks at me strangely.People w/o Lyme and Co.'s just don't get it... and I am so glad for Lymenet. At least we can relate to each other!!!

Thanks both of y'all for the input, if i find out anything more I'll post the info'.

<<<<< Greta' Pack Sis' >>>>>,

[Smile] I'm glad I could help you to chuckle, I think we need humor!!! I really do feel like a franken-wolfi sometimes...especially when my right leg doesn't cooperate. Lately the busted up big toe has been stinging.

Sometimes, there are days, when as a Ya Ya pal said, I need to be wrapped in cotton batting, and then bubble wrap. Put in a cooling breeze room, w/ a straw for my favorite tea,and soft music of my choice.

The only problem would be getting out of my comfy chair to go to the restroom... look out its the Franken-wolfi-mummy!!

With mouth, my first guess is some strain of herpes virus . . . but there are other reasons such as acid food or toothpaste sensitivities. I know these can be very painful. I deal with mouth eruptions that are UFO (unidentified frustrating objects).

SEA BUCKTHORN OIL helps. Coconut oil actually burns me, though. I have to avoid citrus (boo-hoo) and tomatoes - and vinegar. I've not been able to use any "real" toothpaste for years, even "natural" ones.

They could be connected to skin ones or not. I just came across this the other day.

Hi <<<<< Keebler >>>>>,

Thanks for the info'link, and the input. There seem to be a lot of Herpes type viruses.

One went thru our college back in the mid to late 70's,and it affected the insides as well as skin. Our neighbors little girl got it,and was put on soft, non acid foods for a few days.Poor little thing, had stomach pain ,sore throat and sore skin.

My lip one isn't breaking open, and seems to be healing, abdomen blister is smaller now, but I have one in my armpit, and one on my nose. Alos last night, tiny itchy bumps showed up onmy right arm, half way between inner elbow and wrist.

There is really high pollen count here right now,and so I'm not sure if it is allergies, viral or just what?!

I'll have to check on pricing for Sea Buckthorn Oil. Interesting you mentioned citrus, and tomato,I cut way back on tomatoes, because once in awhile, I do get a bit of lip blistering from tomato.

Haven't has enough to cause blisters lately tho, not sure what this is from.

Thanks again for the info'!

Silverwolfi here updating:

Hi <<<<< Lyme-Family >>>>>,

The blisters are mostly gone, they were inner lip, a spot on upper abdomen and lower. And then two on my nose of all things...like blistery pimples.

Now I have yeast issues acting up,and the IC is pretty rough. Hoping it's not UTI, cannot get to Dr. until end of Sept. Trying a yeast fighter, that I was given a sample of... and... herxing.

My legs feel like heavy weights, and I feel flu-ish. Was only able to help a couple nights at our Church VBS.The crafting area was close to restrooms so that was helpful, for me, and the kids too!

I enjoyed visiting w/ the children as we helped them do various crafts. Lots of fun, now I
have to rest a bit. But ,at least I could enjoy some of the program!!!

Not sure, but wondering if allergies may be causing some of this, I don't seem to be able to tolerate celery ,anymore ,among other things.

Well that's my update for now... will check back when I can!

Hi <<<<< LymeNet Family >>>>>,

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between IC flaring and and UTI??

Not sure if I have a UTI, hoping not, don't like this lower back ache. I know I'm having an IC flare.

Managed to get a scratchy throat, with my usual sinus ick.I wonder if that might not be some yeast mess going??

Thanks for any tho'ts on this...

Sorry you are not feeling so well.

Wish you could get a urinalysis done. Especially with the back ache. Don't want to get a kidney infection.

Hope you feel better soon.

Hello there <<<<< Janer' >>>>>,

Sorry i couldn't respond sooner, Thanks for the reply [Smile] !!!

I seem to have the flu on top of everything else, TxC' has it as well. Both of us upper respiratory/sinus, and loose bowels,[mine, out right diarrhea off and on].

He's been home more and on laptop more. So far he seems okay, UT wise, a concern as he has stage 3 kidney disease.

I'm still battling some IC/UTI? issues but it is calming down somewhat. I am sorta housebound right now from all of it. The back ache isn't as severe so that's a good sign for me.

We are both really weary tho', so resting as much as possible. TxC' went to pay a couple bills, and do a bit of shopping, he'll need to nap when he gets home.

He doesn't like to miss church, he missed Wed., and will miss choir prac. tonight, But w/ the other issues he has to rest. Stresses from the VA mess aren't helping, we keep going best as we can.

interstitial cystitis
The signs and symptoms of interstitial cystitis vary from person to person. If you have interstitial cystitis, your symptoms may also vary over time, periodically flaring in response to common triggers, such as menstruation, sitting for a long time, stress, exercise and sexual activity.

Interstitial cystitis signs and symptoms include:

•Pain in your pelvis or between the vagina and anus in women or between the scrotum and anus in men (perineum).
•Chronic pelvic pain.
•A persistent, urgent need to urinate.
•Frequent urination, often of small amounts, throughout the day and night. People with severe interstitial cystitis may urinate as often as 60 times a day.
•Pain or discomfort while the bladder fills and relief after urinating.
•Pain during sexual intercourse.
The severity of symptoms caused by interstitial cystitis often varies, and some people may experience periods during which symptoms disappear.

Although signs and symptoms of interstitial cystitis may resemble those of a chronic urinary tract infection, urine cultures are usually free of bacteria. -However, symptoms may worsen if a person with interstitial cystitis gets a urinary tract infection.

http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/interstitial-cystitis/basics/symptoms/con-20022439

UTI
Urinary tract infections don't always cause signs and symptoms, but when they do they may include:

•A strong, persistent urge to urinate
•A burning sensation when urinating
•Passing frequent, small amounts of urine
•Urine that appears cloudy
•Urine that appears red, bright pink or cola-colored — a sign of blood in the urine
•Strong-smelling urine
•Pelvic pain, in women
•Rectal pain, in men
UTIs may be overlooked or mistaken for other conditions in older adults.

http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/urinary-tract-infection/basics/symptoms/con-20037892

I hope you guys feel better soon!

Hi <<<<< Steve' >>>>>,

Thanks so much, for the symptoms info', so far TxC' hasn't been having the UT; issues w/ this. I'm praying he doesn't have issues w/, last time,New years,he had to go to emergency.

Mine is definitely the IC, but I'm sure I'm fighting some UTI as well. I've been flooding my system, w/ liquids [mostly water, because of dietary issues/diabetes].It is helping, slowly.

I greatly appreciate the symptoms list, strong smelling urine, tipped me off for one
thing. I don't get UTI's often, but deal w/IC daily. I'm gonna tag the links to favorites!

I've gotten a couple UTI's myself in the last couple of years, not fun stuff...

I also get those rashes, for years since lyme. I never know when they'll appear, it's all a mystery to me.

I always get them on my chest/stomach – could be a rash,,, or patches. I’ve been dealing with this for the past couple of days, pretty bad this time.

Silverwolf, If I was you, I would try some D-Mannose for the UTI. If it is bacterial, I have seen this work near miracles for acute UTI. It wipes the bacteria off the organ linings, keeps them from adhering, and causes them to be flushed out in the urine.

If it is yeast-related, I guess it could possibly aggrevate it since D-Mannose is a sugar of some type.

Keebler -thanks. I did use butt wipes and did have that rash. My dermatologist actually helped me by suggesting I stop using huggies for sensitive skin. I did not know the compound causing it before your post- methyllisothiazolinone. I use witch hazel wipes now. I'm going to check my other hair and skin products for this compound. One rash caused by allergy. One step forward, two steps back.

Hi there

Hi there <<<<< Steve', TNT, and hermit >>>>>,

Steve, keeping you in tho'ts and prayers, this stuff is not fun.

TNT, I have diabetes, and yeast issues,so the D-mannose is probably out for now, but,i will look up info' on it.

Hermit, Keebler, studies on and comes up w/ lots of helpful info' I've been checking our stuff here to make sure there is no MI chemicals.

Keebler, Thank you, for posting helpful and informative info'!!!

The issues I've been fighting, seem related
to a flu bug,in combo,w/ Lyme and Co's,and yeast issues with some UTI issues. I have IC,and usually I don't get that much UTI issues.

Some of it is settling down a little...finally, still really tired, and still consuming extra water. Have to keep this mess at bay, at the end of Sept. I'll see my Dr.[sadly he's not LL].

Thanks for the input, info' and help from each replier. That is something I find so wonderful here on LymeNet.We have caring folk, who try to help one another. And a wealth of information!!!
