Especially when I'm herxing ( which is always) and I lie down at night I feel something that's like Things Swimming Around in my muscles. They're not exactly twitches ( had those) or fasciculations ( had those also) -- this is more like, I swear, something living in my skin or my muscles.

I can also feel this in my hands and feet sometimes.

I know a gerbilologist would say that this is coming from the brain or nerves but it does not feel that way to me. It feels like there is actually something there.

Anything like this on the books? Muscle parasite, external parasite, outside of the gut? That's indigenous to the US?

I have something similar. To me it feels like there is movement of some kind in the tissue of my face, near my ears, and parts of my head. Sometimes it is near my eyes and other body parts as well. (legs, hands, feet).

I actually hear and feel 'sizzling' that goes along with the feeling of movement when it is near my ears and sinuses. I wonder if it is infection of some type that inflames the nerves, parasites getting things all riled up or heavy metals being moved around. [Frown]

I know that something is not right and this is certainly not normal. I'm glad you posted this. I am afraid that only somebody with tick borne illness would understand this.

Oh, for sure, there can be parasites outside the gut.

Oh the sizzling! I had that at the beginning. Actually two types, one in my head, one in the nerves in my arms.

I was also remembering that the first day I took Zithromax and TInidazole together I felt the most disgusting bubbling feeling, like something right under my skin was being fried in a pan -- inside my face, like in my cheeks, forehead, under my nose. It was SO gross.

So what are these parasites called and what is their treatment?

Ye there is such a thing - Trichinella

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trichinella

Ask your doctor to get a blood test for the antibodies. The medicine is Albendazole.
