One of my biggest problems with Lyme is the fatigue. Has anyone found anything that helps the fatigue? I've been on antibiotics for Lyme and Ehrlichiosis, and I was on Mepron for the Bab's. Nothing has helped the fatigue. Even some relief from the fatigue would be welcome.

Mark,
Fatigue is part of Lyme and will probably get better as you get better. In the meantime, do you take B Vitamins? Vitamin B Complex shots (Compounded at College Pharmacy) helped quite a bit with fatige, excessively oily skin, angular stomatitis (Cracking in the corners of my mouth, and insomnia, to name a few. Twice a month I add an ml. of B12, which helps prevent aphthous ulcers (sores on my gums). If you you aren't taking a Vitamin B Complex pill on a daily basis, I would try that first. I didn't work for me, however.
Oh:
Pardon my manners, welcome to Lymenet. It.s a great source of infomation and understanding.

I don't like the fatigue either. But pleae don't take things so you don't feel tired just so you can push yourself. YOU MUST GET A LOT OF REST. Dr. B calls it ENFORCED REST. He says you cannot get well without rest and lots of it.
That being said.....I drink Green Vibrance Green food. I dink one scoop in an 8oz. glass of water.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently not taking a B vitamin complex, so I can start there. Also thanks for the link to the B-12 "No Shot". I did have some B-12 injections a number of years ago, but they only made my insomnia worse. However, I took those shots before I had the Lyme diagnosis and before my improvement with antibiotics, penicillin, and Mepron. It may be time to revisit the B-12 if the B-complex doesn't help.
