Just curious how often most of us are seeing our LLMD while trying to regain our health.

first and second doc was every month i was only two hours away. My recent doc is once a year with phone visits every four months which is great for me. Personally what i did every month at the other docs i could have done on the phone.

This doc is about fourteen hours away but have to break it up into two days so actually forty eight hours away. No way could i drive it in one day.

I know I will get a load of s.....t for saying that I see an IDMD. But, he sees once or twice a month & his nurse sees me once a week. My PCP follows-up once a month in between to check all vitals. I can't complain about the attention that is paid to my treatment regimen.

Jake & Jordan see their LLMD every 3 months. We usually have a phone consultation between appointments.

The first year I saw Dr C of MO, I think I saw him every 3-4 months. The second year was considerable less. This year, however, I have not seen him since January, but, have an appt with him the last day of August.

the only reason I was not seen by him sooner this year was because I had surgery, extensive PT afterwards for 3.5 months and I got married out of the states.

Oh, and because I had been vomiting straight on a daily basis and meds wouldn't stay down anyway. Now that that has stopped, I will be seeing him soon.

I used to go every 2 months since my LLMD is only 40 miles away.....but with my recent financial woes, I've now extended my visits to every 4 months.

Rosemary.......do you know why the vomiting episodes got better??

No, the episodes, mysteriously, ended as mysteriously they started. We could not find an answer. Was taken off all meds, to no avail. Was scoped from the bottom up and the top down giving us no answers.

I believe that Lyme causes many things that just can't be explained by tests of any sort.

See you soon, at the end of August...we'll talk...bout time...been too long now.

I'm only two weeks into my treatment. Seen my LLMD once so far. Presume I'll see him again after 1 month treatment of Doxy. But nothing's been setup yet. I've spoken with him twice on the phone. He'll call me back within a day. He also has a wonderful and quite knowlegable staff that take their time in talking with you.

I saw mine only once in October. Since then, I call whenever I need him. During the working days I can reach him in his office and I can call him every evening from 8-11, even on Sundays on his mobile phone.

Once I called Saturday evening at 10.30 because of what I thought was an urgency. I catched him in his holidays in Austria in what sounded like a bar. He was not too pleased then, but he helped me anyway.

I feel I can reach him better than my family duck around the corner.

Once every 4 weeks.

Once every three weeks while on IV, with weekly blood draws.
