Hi I am wondering if any doctor ever told any one that they had the babinski sign? If so do you still have it or did it go away? If it went away how did it go away? I was told I had that 2 years a go and I still have it am wondering if this is normal to get with neuro lyme? Thanks

The Babinski sign is a reflex that happens when a sharp object is run from the heal toward the toe of the foot on the bottom side.

Historicaly, in the ER it was considerd an indication of a CVA, or stroke, assault to a particular part of the neurological system.

It can go away eventually and can also be indicative of neuro lyme.

OH NO!

NOT THE BABINSKI SIGN!

Say it ain't so!!!

Now that I have completely freaked you out...

(I doubt I did cause you already know me...)

hehehe

And a good morning to YOU too...

It means if you tickle your feet.. instead of curling the foot and toes one way.. you curl them the other.

As long as no future employer asks about tickling your feet on a job application...

And you don't enter any contests for feet tickling..

And you don't try to write a book on a bed of feathers while holding the ink pen in between your toes...

Not to worry!

It can reverse with proper treatment.

And if it doesn't...

What the hay?

Hope you are doing better these days.

And where ya been?

We haven't seen your smiling face here in a good while.

Lettuce no rosco!
