Hi! Iowa's LDA founder, Judy Weeg, has asked me to find out about a LDA conference coming up w/Dr. Fallon coming to the Kansas City area in near future.

Does anyone know the details a link where I can read it & pass along the info to Judy so she can attend it? Thanks alot! Betty

I found another link where I copied Fallon's info below for an Aug. conf. out east.

Dr. Brian Fallon, Columbia University, and Pat Smith, President, Lyme Disease Association, Inc.

Another question, and this is going to sound really dumb since I was able to post my 1st and only post 9-5.

I can't figure out this board....how do I post a NEW post. I can reply easily; but just can't find NEW POST area. Don't know how I found it Sunday. Thank you.

Also, if you originate a post, do you automatically get any replies sent to our private email mailbox? Thanks. Just finding this one harder to navigate w/my brain fog. Betty

Hi Betty,

In the Prime Time Lyme Newsletter dated Augst 24, 2004, Volume l2, Number 08, states on the front page of the newsletter that Dr. Brian Fallon will be in Kansas City for the EICS confrence.

It goes on to state that he is the leader in Lyme disease research and has recently received the largest ever grant for Lyme disease research.

The conference will have a full day of speakers, providing 6 hours of credits for medical professionals.

Date is November l9.

This is a newsletter by the Lyme Association of Greater Kansas City, Inc. 9l3-438-LYME

Up at the top of the page where it says POST NEW TOPIC is where you would post. I don't think you would automatically get replies in your private mailbox. Don't know for sure.

I just check Lymenet, try to anyway, on a daily basis.

Actually the founder of the Iowa Lyme Disease Association is not Judy.

Judy is the founder of the Lyme Disease Association of Story City, Iowa.

The Iowa Lyme Disease Association has been in existance for several years and is based in Brighton, Iowa and carries a completely different tax ID number, etc....

I am a member of both.

Here is the Website I built for the I.L.D.A.

lifeline, thanks so much for all the good info and how to post!

Glad you wrote on here where this prime time newsletter is & how to get it! I know Judy will use the info you provided to call them.

Would you believe with that area in black/white; I did not even see it? Thanks again for taking the time to furnish us w/this important info. Betty G.

PS - Yes, your reply was sent to my private email w/this web page addy to read your reply.

When you post something, you have the option to see the replies.

But from what I have seen, when I try to SUBSCRIBE to a topic I'm interested in, I can't do that! The best thing I figured out was check the RECENT topics list & read topic subjects there.

Is there any other ways to read replies from others on certain topics that is quicker and user-friendly? Thanks again to whoever.

Betty,

I would have posted it too...but Life had beaten me to it.

I talked with Judy yesterday....she should have asked me...shoot I had that info at home.

That Silly girl.

I hope your posting problems subside soon.

Trout

Trout,
Hi, I stand corrected since I'm a newbie to Iowa's lyme world & who is who.

I went to your site & sent you a personal note. For others going there, Kent's guestbook is FULL so no one can enter until he deletes older ones. Betty
