I found this receipe in 2 forms but its basically the same thing. Has anyone tried this and if so what is your opinion?

Whole Lemon-Olive Oil Drink
1 whole lemon---washed and blended until smooth
1 cup of juice or water added to the blended lemon
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil---blended with the lemon
(Montolivo is the best brand)
Pour through a wire strainer
Discard pulp and drink liquid

Second version:
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup juice or water
1 tbl. extra virgin olive oil

??? I would think if you added the olive oil to the blended mixture befor straining it that quite a bit of it would be discarded so I would think adding the olive oil after straining might be better

I can't speak to a lyme herx, but I have tried this for a candida herx and a mycoplasma herx and it helped temporarliy.

You definately want to add stevia to your ingredients list to make it palatable.

Also,I don't have a real strong stomach so I don't do this too frequently. But if someone is already nauseated the acidity may make it worse.

I don't know about it helping a herx, but my nutritionist has me drinking 80+ ounces of water with lemon a day. That's a LOT of water. But she told me it is to help alkalize my system, which supposedly helps maintain an unfriendly environment for bacteria, parasites, etc. to grow.

So I spend half my day drinking water and the other half . . .
