Just got done w/ 6 bottles of Mepron plus the Zith and Ceftin. Now taking Mino 100mg. 2x day with Ceftin 500mg. 2x a day as well as the Artemisin 3x a day.
Sunday the first day was fine, but Monday morning felt very lightheaded and unsteady. Moving my head slightly just gave me more dizziness. YUCK!
It hasn't gotten any better yet and I'm getting inpatient (of course!) THREE WHOLE STINKIN DAYS OFF WORK!!! I can not even think about driving let alone trying to actually function feeling like this. I'm amazed I'm even typing.....My leg also hurts below my knee and lower back hurts as well. These are brand new pains, so this feels like a herx. My LLMD says to hang in there until tomorrow than call.....Anybody experience something similar or have any advice about Minocycline?? Thanks!!

Ive been on minno for about 5 months, its more intense than any other oral Ive tried by far.You can work your way up to the full dose. Most of the time I do 150mg because the drug and the herx is just to much. You do adjust somewhat to it but it still stays intense.I have only improved a little on it but at least Ive improved a little,I didnt improve at all on anything else.

Joe, WOW!!!.....and I thought the zith knocked me on my butt when i went from 600 to 1000 a day...This is new for me.
My husband worked his way up to 200 2x a day, and then had the same thing I'm experiencing now. The smaller dose he tolerated well.
Thanks much for the info. Are you taking anything else besides mino???

I've been on mino a month, and still can't take more than 50mg/day. I open up the capsules and pour half the powder into empty gel caps. Seems to be working fine, although I have to take it with ketek.
